Ratby Band members from each of our bands took part in this year’s Wessex Summer School, held in ye olde county of Wessex, more specifically Sturminster Newton High School in the beautiful North Dorset. Wessex Band Summer School is a summer course for brass, wind and percussion players of all levels and abilities. Under the expert direction of Ratby’s very own Musical Director Michael Fowles and his team of internationally renowned tutors and conductors, students play and rehearse a wide and exciting range of music. Ratby are proud to have such a strong association with WBBSS.
